The institutions offer alternative access/extended programmes to help
applicants who may not meet the entry requirements for specific degrees
and diplomas. Most of these programmes only consider applicants from a
disadvantaged educational background. Some of the programmes, when
successfully completed, allow you to be considered for admission to a
particular programme of study. In other programmes, you are admitted
directly to degree or diploma studies, and the initial modules are spread
over a longer period than normal.
