Durshen Govender
Winner ofthe R20 000 Bursary
I am Durshen Govender. I am 18 years
old. I finished matric in 2013 at Greenbury
Secondary. I am a proud DUT student doing
FoodTechnology, which is the study of science
behind food. Now that CAO has helped me
with my fees for the first year, it takes a lot of
pressure off my family.
Financial aid is closed now because of so
many students needing money and if I worked
part-time to pay for studies myself, I wouldn’t
have time to study.Thank you CAO and keep
up the good work of helping the future leaders
of South Africa to make their dreams come
true.To the rest of the students – good luck!
Durshen Govender receiving a bursary from Mike Naidoo, Chairperson of the CAO Board.
