1. Each award has its own closing date.
2. To be eligible for the draw, the application form and fee must be received by the
CAO before the closing date for which the award is intended.
3. Applicants qualify for each of the draws for which they are eligible, but cannot be
awarded more than one, which will be the one with the highest monetary value.
4. Bursaries are payable to first-time University and College entrants only.
5. Before winners are announced, it must be established that they have been
selected by an institution and qualify for admission, that they are first-time
entrants, and that they have accepted the offer.
6. In the event of any of the first four winners drawn in the ballot not being eligible,
the prize will be awarded to the next eligible name on the list.
7. The bursary will be paid to the institution for the benefit of the student.
8. Prizes will not be paid directly to the winners.
9. Prizes are only valid for the first year registration fees, tuition and additional
expenses, and will be administered by the institution.
10. In the event of the selected student failing to register or withdrawing from the
institution, the balance of the bursary is to be refunded to the CAO.
11. Staff of the CAO and of participating institutions and their dependents are not
eligible to win a bursary.

for the first or second week in April;
