Offers of places may be withdrawn if the conditions are not met or if
institutions discover that you have provided false information in your
application for admission.
•
If you are applying to an institution at which you have previously studied, or
are currently studying at, please contact them first. In most cases, they will
want you to apply directly to them because your student number is valid for
life.
Once you have captured all your details, you will be asked to print
out the declaration, documents checklist and payment details. If
you do not have access to a printer, phone the CAO Call Centre on
031 268 4444 or Share Call 086 086 0 CAO/086 086 0 226 or email
once you have completed your application,
and request the declaration and payment details.
Things to watch out for when filling in the
application form
PLEASETAKE NOTE
Do
NOT
use a photocopy of the application form. Each form contains
a unique CAO number.
If you wish to make changes later in the year (e.g. changes to contact
info, programme choices, etc.) – email, fax or post ONLY the changes
to us –
DO NOT
complete a new application form.
Do
NOT
send us more than one application form or complete more
than one online application for the same entry year as it will be
treated as a duplicate application and follow the Change of Mind
process (i.e. if more than one application is received with payment,
the programme choices from the latest application will be processed
as a Change of Mind. You will be liable for the Change of Mind fee
of R100.00).
How to complete your application form
Indicate your personal information including your ID/Passport
number, which is essential.
Give us an address where there are postal deliveries.
Give us an alternative address that we can post to in case post to
the first address is not delivered.
